Luftvis Schlieren in PoF paper in Underwater High Voltage Discharge Research

Researchers from Shandong University of Technology in China (山东理工大学) publised their research on underwater high-voltage discharge, and revealed the thermal flow around the electrodes.

Luftvis Z-type lightpath schlieren system (Model Luftvis-100) is used in this research.  This schlieren system includes a high power LED illuminator with maximum power of 40W, which supports 1us exposure time recording.
